Why We Celebrate
The purpose of the 2024 Juneteenth Golf Classic is to Celebrate, Support, and Collaborate with our community. This year we are doing that by raising awareness and funds for area Black-owned businesses.
Support Black Owned Businesses
This year a portion of the monies generated by the 2024 Juneteenth Golf Classic will go to fund area Black business owners with micro-grants and vendor opportunities. We do all of this in conjunction with the Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce (DBCC). The DBCC serves as an advocate for the creation, growth and general welfare of Black-owned businesses and organizations across North Texas. They have helped provide access to millions of dollars to fund Black-owned businesses, and have continued their efforts with the Juneteenth Golf Classic.
This year we are honored to have Chandler Gadis as our honorary chair. Chandler's mission is to promote active learning and development through the sport of golf.
